    Age: 17
    Timezone/General Location: EST (Maryland, USA)
Projects Interested Working on: Shoujo, preferably manga with Furigana
Do you have any experience? Yes. I have worked on "Busu Ni Hanataba Wo" with Hunniebbe Scans for 2 chapters.

Why did you decide to join Decadence? I was reading Koi to Yobu and I admired the quality
Tell us a bit about yourself! I am Japanese American. I can read Katakana, Hiragana, and basic Kanji. I want to spend time translating manga as a way to practice Japanese regularly. While in Hunniebbe Scans, I translated ~10 pages per week.

I've attached the test to this post. I could only translate "Manga 2".

Recruitment / [Proofreader] laanibear
« Last post by laanibear on January 14, 2018, 10:11 AM »
Timezone/General Location: Central Standard Time/ Grand Forks, ND
Projects Interested Working on: I am open to any project, I read a lot of different types of manga. I love it all!

Do you have any experience?
I do not have experience specifically with proofreading manga, but I did work in the Writing Center when I was in college.

Why did you decide to join Decadence?
I was reading a chapter from a manga that was released and saw that help was wanted and I thought I would give it a try. Plus, when I looked at the manga that this group works on, I realized I read almost all of them. I have been interested in joining a scanlation team for a while now and thought that this was a good one to try for.

Tell us a bit about yourself!
My husband teases me and tells me that I am an otaku as I read manga or watch anime almost everyday...actually I can't think of the last day I went without...haha

Hi! My name is Nica, a 19-year old frustrated art student. I've always wanted to try joining a group. I'm taking a break off uni right now due to some circumstances so I've got a lot of free time on my hands. I'm interested in your projects as I love cute and smutty manga, that's why I applied. :)

Age: 19
Timezone/General Location: GMT+8
Projects Interested Working on: Anything except historical manga
Do you have any experience? Nope.

Hi there! My name is Lauwrinda. I came across you guys from my excessive manga consumption and found your name (back when it was Transcendence) on just about every manga, haha. So I figured I wanted to find out what it is you guys do and how it is I can help out!

Age: 25
Timezone/General Location: UCT+02:00/South Africa
Projects Interested Working on: Anything!
Do you have any experience?
No. But I will tell you what I am good at: I can read a mile a minute, I pay close attention to detail, and I am a graphic design and photography student (so if you need to use my skills there - why not?!).
Why did you decide to join Decadence?
You all seem to be working your fingers to the bone in order to give the public an experience they are all desperate for, myself included. I just want to be a part of that.
Tell us a bit about yourself!
I am a graphic design and photography student at The Open Window Institute in Centurion, South Africa. Previously I studied fashion design and makeup artistry at LISOF. So I like to think of myself as creative. I am an avid reader and one of my all time favorite books is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I am always up for a challenge, and believe that hard work is the glue of any success.

Enough of all that! Here is my test.  :victory:

I have read all the rules :)
