Hi Berica!

I'm Roze, one of the admins!! Congrats on passing and welcome to Decadence as a full team member!!! We're happy to have you.

You're in the midwest too?! So am I! I'm in Northern Minnesota. My area actually made national news for coldest spot in the US a couple weeks ago during that cold spell. I wonder if we're neighbors!  :squeee:

Also, if you haven't thought about it already, please consider joining our discord channel! The link for it is right below the cbox in the forum header. We have quite a few active staff members on there. We also have a staff chat where we talk about staff related things!

There's an app you can download for your phone if you have a smartphone and there's also a desktop client as well if you decide you like it.

Hope to maybe see you there!

On a side note, would you PM your email address so I can add you to the spreadsheet?

Heyo, I'm Bearica ^^ I just passed PR training and I'm super excited to join the team!

Some things about me: I graduated college last year and currently reside in one of the colder parts of the midwest. My favorite Decadence series are Koi wa Tsuzuku, Joou no Hana, and Queen's Quality, but I'm also a fan of Akatsuki no Yona, Skip Beat, and Nodame Cantabile. Outside of that though, I watch a lot of movies and aspire to read more books in my free time.

Can't wait to get to know you all :hi:

I watched Ready Player One yesterday. It was reasonably entertaining but incredibly dumb. Good-looking visuals, though. The best part was Mecha-Godzilla.

I like the actors. Just a shame that the story is so dumb.

granted by now you can't look at anything without seeing math concepts all over the place which would prob cause you to have an eternal headache.

I wish there were more hours in the day!  :wait-onion-head-emoticon:

Hi TopScout! Thanks for applying.

After reviewing your test, I would like you to take one more look at part 3 for missing words, punctuation, and SFX. There are also a few Guideline-related errors in both parts 2 and 3, so watch out for those too.

Please resubmit by replying to this thread when you are ready!

I don't have a clue on how forums work so excuse me for being uncivilized.

Timezone/General Location:
GMT-6 (U.S.)
Projects Interested Working on:
I'll work on any manga, preferably those that have less than thirty pages per a chapter.
Do you have any experience?
Yes, I do. I'm currently a proofreader for two other teams.
Why did you decide to join Decadence?
Haha, well... That's a funny one.
When I first started getting into scanlation, I really didn't have a foundation to start on.
One day, I stumbled upon this team on a recruitment page and checked out the PR test.
However, instead of taking the test, something else caught my attention.
There was a surprisingly helpful file called the "PR guidelines," which went on to help me grow as a proofreader.
Therefore, I've always appreciated this group because it reminds me of an old friend that was there for me when I needed them.
That's why I've decided to apply.
Tell us a bit about yourself!
I'm very talkative and active when I want to be.
Also, I like to joke around whenever I can.

Hi, Lobeho! Good to have you. :)

I'm Spectrum, junior translator. My motivation is that there exist great manga that deserve more exposure outside Japan. What brought me here was Shizuko Is My Bride because I fell in love with another manga by the same author and wanted to both read more of her works and spread the word about them. :)

How is your name, "Lobeho", pronounced? Which syllable is stressed? Is is stressed on the first syllable as in "Lo! Behold!" or on the second syllable as in "Lobelia Sackville-Baggins"?

I saw the new Dragonball movie last month and it was meh... action-packed and pretty much what you'd expect in screaming and plot XD Ending wasn't bad though.

Best movie I saw in 2018 was the Natsume Yuujinchou movie hands down (I watched it twice cuz it was so great)! If nobody subs it when it comes out on disc, we should seriously consider  :squeee:
